Hardik Pandya Criticizes CWI for Failing to Make Basic Preparations for India

Hardik Pandya, a flamboyant all-rounder for India, criticized Cricket West Indies (CWI) for poor management off the field and demanded that they take care of certain fundamental needs. The three-match ODI series’ travel arrangements and other administration did not please Hardik. As the visitors won the series 2-1 with a commanding 200-run victory in the decisive match on Tuesday, Hardik captained the Indian squad in the last two one-day internationals.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-107365″ src=”×422.jpg” alt=”” width=”1482″ height=”834″ srcset=”×422.jpg 750w,×576.jpg 1024w,×432.jpg 768w,×220.jpg 390w,×84.jpg 150w, 1280w” sizes=”(max-width: 1482px) 100vw, 1482px” />

Pandya said that the team’s only request is for the CWI to provide for their basic needs during their upcoming trip rather than any extravagances.

“We have played on some nicer fields than this one. The next time we visit the West Indies, things could be better. from traveling to handling many different tasks. There were some problems last year as well. It’s time, in my opinion, for West Indies Cricket to pay attention to this and ensure that when a team goes… We don’t expect for luxury, but we do need certain basic needs to be met. Other than that, it was great to be here and play some decent cricket,” Hardik Pandya said on Tuesday.

Pandya, meanwhile, rediscovered his form and contributed an unbroken 70-run effort to India’s 351/5 total. He batted four fours and five sixes while leading the squad from the front. He used his resources well while fielding, helping India defeat West Indies by 200 runs and take the series 2-1 by bowling them out for only 151.

Hardik continued by stating that he enjoys playing under pressure when a game is at stake and that he was proud of the Indian players for displaying courage in the absence of veteran starters Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

It’s a unique victory. Since there is something at stake, I must admit that as a captain, I eagerly anticipate these kind of games. It wasn’t just a match between nations. We were aware of the importance of the situation and the disappointment that would follow a defeat. The guys had excellent character. They also found enjoyment in it, which is crucial while under pressure. Without being able to handle pressure, you can’t become a hero, Hardik stated.
