India defeats Japan 35-1 to go to the Asian Hockey 5s World Cup Qualifying semifinals.

<p>India finished second in the Elite pool table with 12 points after two victories on the day, and therefore qualified directly for the semifinals. On Saturday, they compete in the second semifinal of the competition.</p>
<p>India defeated Malaysia in their first game of the day, with Gurjot Singh scoring five goals in the seventh, eleventh, seventeenth, ninth, and thirty-first minutes. Other Indian scores included Maninder Singh (12th) and Mohammed Raheel (21st).</p>
<p>Arif Ishak (sixth), Ismail Abu (seventh), Muhamad Din (eighth), Kamarulzaman Kamaruddin (twenty-sixth), and Syarman Mat (30th) all contributed to Malaysia’s score.</p>
<p>In the second game, India absolutely destroyed Japan, scoring goals at will. Maninder scored a remarkable 10 goals (1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 9th, 15th, 20th, 24th, 25th, and 29th), while Mohammed Raheel scored 7 (3rd, 4th, 11th, 12th, 17th, 26th, and 26th).</p>
<p>Sukhvinder (4th, 8th, 16th, 22nd), Pawan Rajbhar (2nd, 6th, 10th, 13th, and 23rd), and Gurjot Singh (12th, 20th, 21st, 27th, and 30th) each scored five goals. Jugraj Singh (15th) hit the target, while captain Mandeep Mor (18th, 23rd, 29th) was on target.</p>
<p>Masataka Kobori (29th) scored the lone goal for Japan.</p>
